With apologies to Jeff Foxworthy.
A Realtor's buyer or seller might be using Zillow if:
- They think their house is worth less than your CMA.
- They check the price of each of your comps on their cell phone.
- They scribble variations of "Z" on your CMA and your listing presentation folder.
- They start each objection with "But Zillow says..."
- The finger they give you, clicks through to Zillow.
- The letter, "Z" is worn off all their keyboards.
- They circle all the "z's" in your listing presentation folder.
- Every time you try to start your listing presentation, they practice Zillow Interruptus.
- They say, "Zillow's hard drive is bigger than your hard drive."
- Their final objection is, "With Zillow, I can sell my home myself."
- They top all of your success coach's Zillow Zestimate Objection Handlers.
- They start all conversations with, "Let's see what Zillow has to say..."
- All their clothes have "Z" monograms.
- Their Home Page is Zillow.com.
- Their Screen Saver is The Zillow Home Page.
- They've already posted about you on the Zillow Blog.
- They quote from Amy Bohutinsky's latest blog posts.
- They refer to copies of their Zestimates as Zerox Copies.
- Their listing presentation folder is thicker than yours. And it has a Zillow Home Page front sheet.
- They expect to get all your data, immediately, over the Internet, and for free.
- They don't try to hide their tattoos of the Zillow Logo.
- When they ask if you're familiar with Richard Barton? You reply, "Wasn't he married to Elizabeth Taylor?"
