Frustration with the current state of Real Estate Search available to home searchers and Real Estate Agents caused me to write this open letter to the Major Real Estate Websites, Major Search Engines and Major Real Estate Search sites about what I want as a Real Estate Agent, and a home buyer and seller:
Hello; NAR, Move Inc, Realtor.com, Google, Zillow, and all you other Google-For-Real-Estate Wannabees:
Give me what I want, or I'm going to find a Real Estate Search Website that does:
1) The Search Site:
- One site (A National MLS).
- The fewsest clicks to get the most information.
- Give me a Website for everyone of my homes, where I can advertise as well.
- Upload my listing data to your site with 1 click after I upload to my own MLS
- Free basic ad with contact info on the listings I submit, and let me upgrade my ad with a link, graphic, contact information and more pictures
- Targetable and measureable pay-per-click ads available to me on my listings and all the listings in my farm
2) The Search:
- Search for a home in any way and any where possible
- All the homes, so I only have to go to one Website.
- Search by Street Number or Street Address
- Search by City, Town or Village
- Search for a home by Zip Code or Zip + 4.
- Have all the information I need to buy or sell a house.
If you give my customers the best possible search and let me advertise on their results, that's what's best for me.
If you do this I'll call you:
- The Google of Real Estate
- The Walmart of Real Estate
- The Yellow Pages of Real Estate
- The Kelly Blue Book of Real Estate
- The Amazon of Real Estate.
Happy Searching.
